SISTOZYME SYRUP

About SISTOZYME SYRUP

SISTOZYME SYRUP is a digestive aid primarily used to treat dyspepsia (indigestion). It is also an appetite stimulant (increases hunger) that effectively treats flatulence (gas), epigastric distress (upper abdominal pain), and eructation (burping). SISTOZYME SYRUP may also be used to relieve digestive disorders during pregnancy, old age, and a period of convalescence (recovering from an illness or injury). Indigestion is the inability to digest food associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach.

SISTOZYME SYRUP contains Fungal diastase, Caraway oil, Cardamom oil, and Cinnamon oil. Fungal diastase is an amylolytic enzyme that breaks down complex starch molecules into maltose (sugar) for easy digestion. Caraway oil improves digestion and relieves spasms in the stomach and intestines. Cardamom oil is a flavouring agent with antibacterial, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. It stimulates appetite and relieves indigestion. Cinnamon oil is an antiflatulent and anti-inflammatory agent that relieves an upset stomach.

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition. SISTOZYME SYRUP is generally safe to use. However, some may experience side effects like abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, if they occur persistently, please seek medical attention.

Let your doctor know if you are using any other medicines, herbal or vitamin supplements before taking SISTOZYME SYRUP. If you have a history of inflammation/swelling of the pancreas (acute pancreatitis), let your doctor know about it. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use SISTOZYME SYRUP with proper consultation and caution.

Uses of SISTOZYME SYRUP

Dyspepsia/indigestion, flatulence/gas, epigastric distress, eructation, and abdominal discomfort.

Medicinal Benefits

SISTOZYME SYRUP helps relieve digestive disorders like indigestion, heartburn, gas, and abdominal discomfort. It contains Fungal diastase, Caraway oil, Cardamom oil, and Cinnamon oil. Fungal diastase is a starch hydrolysing or amylolytic enzyme that breaks down the starch into simple sugars (maltose) for easy digestion of starch, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. It is used to aid digestion in chronic illness, stomach fullness, and indigestion. Caraway, Cardamom, and Cinnamon oils are carminative agents. Caraway oil improves digestion and relieves spasms. Cardamom oil is a flavouring agent with antibacterial, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. It stimulates appetite and relieves indigestion. Cinnamon oil is an antiflatulent and anti-inflammatory agent that relieves an upset stomach. Thus, SISTOZYME SYRUP promotes the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins and helps absorb the essential nutrients in the intestine.
